SOOKE PETS

It was in 1999 when Safars' president and her children began helping pets in Sooke by fostering dogs for the Nana Foundation. As the years passed the family's devotion to help pet owners increased becoming their chosen act of kindess to offer. In February 5th, 2012, the act of kindness was registered as a society called Safars .

Therefore, due to the fact that in Sooke Safars' delivers pet food door by door to  the majority of families who do not have cars, the sadness of the need is not reflected on the streets. Nobody knows that several low income families, many of them receiving disability pensions rely on this program to keep their loyal friends. For this same reason, and because our Sooke project survives thanks to businesses in Langford and Victori. These are  pictures of the furry friends depending on this food bank. These pets exist and the need if becoming greater every month that passes.
