Lancelot's story.

Lancelot was one of the kittens which was thrown out by his owners to the Sooke disposal landfill.

Lancelot's dad was a Siamese and his mom is Vicky, a black and white pretty girl also shown on this site.

Lancelot is 6 months old and has been recently rescued from the dangerous and sad place where he was thrown by his previous owners. We took him to the vet yesterday, June 14th , 2012, and he has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and deflead.

The good news are that tomorrow morning him and his cousin Tulip are going to meet their new forever family. They have been both adopted by Jim and his family as barn cats in their farm. The family has been cleaning their forever shed-home where they are going to be kept during the taming process.

Lancelot had to go alone to his new home until Tulip decides to get inside the cage. However, we had a great time in the car and discovering my new life. Margarita talked to me all the time and at the end I was getting closer and clser to her. I went with her to feed the cats at her feeding station downtown and after she showed me what a farmer's life means.

By the time you read this I will be already adapting to my new life, home and loving family. I miss my mom and siblings, but I know they are in good hands with our rescuers. I can now relax, not be afraid anymore of getting hurt and start learning how to do my job of chasing all these rats from here. It is going to be fun! I am happy and thankful to you all!

A Happy End.

I cannot forget to mention the special treatment I received at the Sooke Veterinary Clinic
and neither can I forget to thank all those who donate money, products and time to me!
I will carry you in my heart forever!
